the tamale kitchen is located in Lakewood Colorado of Mississippi and Sheridan it is a rather small location but offers some good food.when I first step inside the tamale kitchen their is a register to your left were you order.I'm the summer the air conditioner blows hard and keeps it very cool.straight ahead there are tables to the left and right that are fairly small and a few small flat screens on the walls with sports on for entertainmentlets get back to the register Right above it is the menu in bold letters and copy's of it on the counter.A Mexican hamburger smothered Ran me $3.45 plus tax witch is cheap for a smothered burrito. The Mexican egg rolls are $1.25 each and my friends ordered four witch is a total of $5.00.

After u order u take a ticket with a number and wait to be called for your food.when they called my number I rushed to get my smothered Mexican hamburger.after being seated I opened the the small white box that held this Mexican dish. The smell immediately rushed my nostrils with fresh chilly and cheese. Now for the true test I my fork and knife into the Mexican hamburger with with no hesitation. The first bite was delightful and filled with flavor and considerably hot.The tortilla is decent and the hamburger was cooked right. The chilly is fairly thin but not watery.after every bite it seemed a Lilly spicier.I and my friends really enjoyed the meal we all ordered the same thing but my friends also ordered some Mexican egg rolls witch I had the pleasure to try.to me it ws like a mini deep fried chimichanga with beef cheese Chile and a deep fried outer layer.

I also ordered a horcahta amd my friends ordered Pepsi and Mountain Dew.The horcahta was delious sweet and cinminony with a hint of milky taste.IT was great to wash down this spicy but some would call it hot dish down with a cool sweet drink.I used to eat the Tamale Kitchen when I was young and I can say that the flavor of the chilly has changed some what and the potion size is a a lot smaller then before. The location is pretty convenient just outside of Denver I'n Lakewood the structure is is old and not the prettiest sight.the inside is small but kept cool with air conditioning in the summer the price is fair to cheap and the food is pretty good and traditional but the chilly is a little thin and the portion size is small.
Pricing:Now i think the price was pretty cheap and fair at $3.45 plus tax for a smothered Mexican burrito. Also the Mexican egg roll was only $1.25 witch is also pretty cheap so for pricing i score a 8.
Customer service:They really just make the food here and you pick it up from the counter not much customer service is involved so i score it a 5.
Setting/Dinning area:It is fairly small but there is somewhat of a dineing area with small flat screen TVs so i score it a 6 mostly because its not very nice and its small.
Quality and taste of food:The food overall was pretty tasty and authentic it did lack in portion size it was hot and cheesy i will give it a score of 8 giving the Tamale Kitchen a total of 27 out of 40.
